I was the kid who grabbed a snow shovel and went knocking on doors looking to make a buck by cleaning off the neighbors’ cars and walkway.
I was the kid with the paper route and cutting lawns.
My first company, Mazer Wholesale, Inc., started in 1986. It was a spin-off from my parents’ West Philadelphia hardware store. I’m proud to say, Mazer Wholesale still exists today as a merchandise wholesaler to retailers, service businesses and consumers. We sell an eclectic variety of products used in and around the home and for business. Visit www.mazerwholesale.com…you might find something to buy!
My Marketing Business, Small Business U.
My marketing business is called Small Business U. The “U” has a double meaning. First, it’s “U” as in University. I call it that because I take an educational approach to helping clients. I always explain which marketing techniques (online or offline) I would use to help their business, as well as explain why and how these things work. With the transparency I provide, my prospective clients have the chance to get a 2nd opinion or even execute on their own.
The second “U” is a about YOU, the client. I like getting paid for the services I provide but I really get a thrill when I get YOU the results you were seeking. I don’t measure results in Page Views, Clicks, Likes, or Shares. I measure success in New Customers and Real Sales. When I take a project, I take it to heart.
I provide seminars to groups of business owners on the subjects around building a productive and profitable marketing system. for Small Businesses.
